About LFF
Luxury Fractional Financing was born out of necessity. LuxuryFractionalGuide.com
co-owner Sherman Potvin (see bio), a worldwide consultant to fractional
developers, and Tom Ward of Ward Financing (see
bio), decided to meld
their experience together in order to meet an acute need for funding in
the fractional industry.
In the past few years one of the most frustrating aspects of fractional
sales has been the failure of traditional financial institutions to fully
understand the concept and nuances of fractional ownership. This resulted
in developers and fractional owners having to be “creative” when
it came to financing a new fractional purchase. More often then not, buyers
would have to obtain an equity loan on their home and pay cash.
With the combined
resources and expertise of Mr. Potvin & Mr. Ward, we are able to offer
funding services to both fractional developers and consumers. For consumers,
we are able to treat a fractional purchase as a “second home” purchase,
just as though they were buying full ownership. For the developer, we
